A very respectable album and personally a welcome change of pace. I don't know how I'd really compare it with his other albums, really. They seem like a different kind of animal from this. While I may end up liking other works more I find this to be solid on the whole.
4/5. 01. Paranoid 02. Love Lockdown 03. Heartless (Up 2/3 a grade from the report card topic.) 04. Coldest Winter 05. See You in My Nightmares 06. Welcome to Heartbreak 07. Street Lights 08. RoboCop 09. Say You Will (Could've made the outro a bit shorter.) 10. Bad News 11. Amazing (The hook bugs me because it's so redundant.) 12. Pinnochio Story
I hear "Paranoid" has a remix being released to radio but will feature Rihanna instead. I hear that "Nightmares" is being released as the other single at the same time, which would personally be fine with me, since they'd get through most of the record's highlights (the way I look at it). One advantage for "Paranoid" is that if that version got overplayed I could still lean on this one.

A very solid effort indeed. I still prefer Graduation hands down to his other albums and am unsure how this would stack up against his first two, since I only familiarized myself with my burned copies of them (finally) earlier this year. I wanna say I already like this more than those anyway, just because it's so different and groundbreaking.
Oh yeah, and I don't understand all the love around here for "Paranoid."
Anyway here's my album ranker:
(4/5)
01. Heartless 02. Coldest Winter 03. Love Lockdown 04. Say You Will (Very unconventional to begin an album with a subdued 6 minute ballad, the second half of which is just the beat carrying on. I like it.) 05. Welcome to Heartbreak 06. Paranoid 07. Street Lights 08. RoboCop 09. See You in My Nightmares 10. Amazing (The hook is repetitive, but moreover, the gruff background grunts kill it for me.) 11. Bad News 12. Pinocchio Story

I still think Late Registration was his best album so far, but I love this album and the total different direction he took. The production is superb.
1. Love Lockdown 2. RoboCop 3. Heartless 4. Paranoid 5. Say You Will [green](I thought it was really smart that he put this track at the beginning with the long outro, it totally sets the tone for the rest of the album)[/green] 6. Coldest Winter 7. Welcome To Heartbreak 8. Street Lights 9. Amazing 10. See You In My Nightmares 11. Bad News 12. Pinocchio Story

Looks like he made a video for "Welcome To Heartbreak" even though it's not a single. Love it though: www.vimeo.com/3256023
