I think this is a fantastic collaboration. The lyrics are funny. I like the way they sing the police siren through. This part is the most attractive element of the song. The track topped the charts at Urban few weeks ago and making rounds at mainstream.

Um...this is just me, but I'm not sure AT40 should be fine with letting the whole "Beat it like a cop/Rodney King, baby, I'mma beat it like a cop [repeat]" line fly on their program." Just uh, you know, doesn't seem very PC--on either level--to let that one go on a Pop radio program...
And from what I remember way back before I started switching the station on it, I seem to recall Urban radio censoring that line.

My local urban station never censored that lyric.

My local urban station never censored that lyric. I dunno, maybe I was mistaken. Oh, so, what? Since it was 16 years ago, it's OK on public airwaves to make fun of Rodney King--the victim, mind you--being beaten by white police officers and likening it to the dehumanizing misogyny of "beating up" pussy?
