I remember watching the video many mornings before heading off to school during freshman year of high school. I used to love this song. In fact, I enjoyed the whole grunge era. Eddie Vedder is the man. I wonder what he is up to now. Fill me in on the details, because I don't keep up with the contemporary Alternative tracks like I want to. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SPMfr38fCA

It's hard to believe after the band's anti-commerical stances later that there was really 3 music videos from the Ten era. It's a nice song, but very overplayed.
He released a solo album, the soundtrack to Into the Wild, last year which had the moderate hit "Hard Sun" on it. Pearl Jam's last (self-titled) album was more commerically successful than what they had done for awhile.

Absolutely unlistenable to this day, along with "Alive," "Black," and to a lesser extent, "Jeremy."
Perhaps I'd be able to tolerate it (them) in the context of Ten, but all 4 of those songs, which I loved back in their day, are automatic station-switchers when they come on the radio and already have been for over 10 years.
